Common problems and fixes
- The file will grow noticeably: an hour-long 128 kbps M4A (around 58 MB) can take a few hundred megabytes as WAV.
- The sound will not be better than the M4A original – it simply will not be compressed further.
- Protected (DRM) M4A files cannot be converted.
- A very long recording can take a while in the browser, and a file over 500 MB will not be accepted.
Tips
When you finish editing, save the final version as MP3, M4A or FLAC so you are not left with large WAV files.
