How to use it
Type or paste text into the top box. Every format appears below straight away, each with its own Copy button.
- UPPERCASE and lowercase change the whole text, which is handy when something was typed with Caps Lock on by accident.
- Title Case capitalises every word, while Sentence case capitalises only the start of each sentence.
- camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case and CONSTANT_CASE are for programming: the text is split into words and spaces and punctuation are removed.
Tips
Case is changed with the language rules of the page, so letters such as ą, č, š or ž become the correct capitals and back again.
Variable, file and URL names usually use snake_case, kebab-case or camelCase: pick the one your project style guide asks for.
In the programming formats accented letters are kept. Many languages accept them, but identifiers are safest with plain Latin letters. If your input is already camelCase or snake_case it is read correctly and converted to the other style.
Title Case does not know style rules about small words such as articles or prepositions, so every word gets a capital letter.
Sentence case capitalises the start of the text and of each sentence after a full stop, exclamation mark or question mark, and lowercases the rest. Proper names and abbreviations may need a manual fix afterwards.
